The name of Athletic Council shall be "B.B. Mahavidyalaya Athletic Council". The membership is open to all bonafide students of the college, the members of the staff and the Principal who is the Ex-Officio President of the council.
Athletic Council:
The Athletic Council maintains an executive committee known as the " Athletic Council" which consist of:-
a) The Principal, Ex-Officio President
b) The Vice-President nominated by the Principal from among the members of the teaching staff.
c) Associate members nominated by the Principal from among the members of the teaching staff.
d) The Physical Education Teacher
e) A secretary to be elected from among the students.
f) An Asst. Secretary to be elected form among the students.
g) One class Representative from each class.
Election Rules:
The election of office bearers will normally be held by ballot of by show of hands as per the decision of the Principal at the time of the college union election.
Tenure of Office:
a) The normal tenure of office of the Athletic council is for one academic session.
b) The Vice-President shall hold his office till the Principal nominates a new Vice-President.
Function of the Council:
a) To prepare and pass the budget.
b) To promote Athletic activities among the students.
c) To organize Annual Athletic meet.
The Vice-President:
a) The Vice-President shall remain in charge of the accounts and the purchase of sports material.
b) He will act as the general Superintendent of all the games.
The Secretary:
a) The Secretary will act as the Convener of meetings.
b) He will act according to the suggestions and instructions of the Vice-President.
c) He will maintain the accounts of the club with approval of the Vice-President. The vice-president will draw the money in advance and will be responsible for the expenditure as per the budget.
